Skydive Stockholm gives you the chance to experience your first free fall without any experience. A tandem jump is an adrenalin-filled and safe introduction into the world of skydiving you won’t forget. The price includes everything you need, equipment, your instructor, the plane ride and, of course, THE JUMP!!

Being able to share your experience with friends is a popular option. We offer two options: a hand camera by your instructor or a photographer jumping with you. Larger group? No problems, our plane can bring several of you every time it takes off. All payments are made in Gryttjom when you arrive on the day of your jump, we accept credit cards such as  VISA or MASTERCARD.

WHO CAN JUMP?

• Weight: Max 100 kg.
  Length: 140-200 cm.
  Age: 12 years, legal guardian must be present if under 18.
  Health: Clean bill of health. Sober.
  Disabillities: Usually no problem. Contact us for details.

FAST AND EASY!

A Skydiving gift certificate is a fantastic way to get someone’s heart pumping.
Payment is easily and safely done via credit card online. The certificate will be delivered within 1-2 days, in Sweden.

If you purchase a certificate without photographer this can still be added when you book your jump and paid onsite the day of the jump.

BEST TIME TO JUMP?

Impossible to say. Maybe a crispy clear Saturday in September with views all the way to Stockholm. Why not a beautiful summer Friday in August or a half-cloudy day in June when you fall between the clouds?

It is possible to add jumpers or photographers to your reservation but the best way to ensure your slot and wishes is to make a decision when you initially book your slot.

BOOK YOUR SLOT

Some slots are sometimes available with short notice but try to reserve your slot 2-3 weeks ahead to have some options. The time you booked is when we expect you to arrive – you don’t have to arrive earlier. Expect to spend around 2 hours at the drop zone for the whole adventure.

After you have reserved your slot you will get a confirmation by e-mail that includes all necessary information, so don’t worry if you forget to ask something.

WEATHER

Skydiving is weather dependent and unfortunately there’s no forecast that can tell us if we can jump or not. Not tomorrow, not the day after tomorrow or next week.

Every morning the jump leader and the pilot make a weather assessment. Then we send a message to the contact listed on your reservation. This message is sent at least 2 hours before your timeslot. If you need to leave home earlier, give customer service a call at 08-410 458 67 to check status.

HOW TO GET HERE

Gryttjom is situated just outside of Tierp, 120 km north of Stockholm. By car it’s a 1.5 hour ride. The airfield has a strict no alcohol policy and the jumper must be completely sober.

Remember to bring your gift certificate if you have one, ID and dress according to the weather. And why not a picnic basket!

SIGN IN & PAYMENT

First, go to the Tandem reception. Sign in and sort out the payment if necessary. We accept VISA or MASTERCARD. And of course, your gift certificate if you have one. You will have to fill out a health declaration and we will check your weight. We weigh all  jumpers in order to load the aircraft efficiently.

Now you and your friends can relax for a while, enjoy the views and skydiving. When it’s time, you will be called up, given all necessary equipment, your instructor will put you in a harness and give you all the instructions regarding the jump. When all is finished, you and your instructor will go together to the aircraft.

PICKNICK & CAFÉ

At the airfield there’s a small café with cold drinks, salads, cookies and snacks. There’s also a playground for the kids. If you bring a picnic you will have no trouble finding either a picnic table, or space on the grass, all with great view of jumpers coming down.

The instructor will inform you of the color of the parachute so that your friends can follow the last part of your flight and landing. Normally you land right next to the picnic area.

THE JUMP

You are sitting in the plane and enjoying the view. You feel the butterflies in your belly. Next thing you know, you’re standing at the door looking 4000 meters down to the ground. At this point it is very difficult to grasp what’s about to happen. After the freefall, the parachute opens and you hang under the parachute… it’s hard to describe how it feels.

Everyone has a different experience. But get ready for one of the most awesome feelings you will ever feel. After you’ve landed you will be released from your instructor, but don’t run off right away! Others are landing around you. Leave your harness on until your instructor helps you. Take a few deep breaths, YOU HAVE BEEN SKYDIVING!!

If you booked any kind of photography you will be given a USB-stick with all your memories before you leave Gryttjom. This usually takes around 20 minutes.
