The facilities of Gryttjom

In addition to the 110 beds in our bunk house, you'll find ample camping spots, hot showers and laundry. There is also a large kitchen if you prefer self-catering. Last but not least, we have the country´s largest skydivers sauna!

Accomodation

When spending the night at the drop zone one of our 110 bunk beds in 4-bed dorms can be used. No reservations required;  first come – first served. Bring your own sleeping bag or sheets, pillow and blanket.

It is also possible to bring your own tent or caravan. Ask for details upon arrival regarding the appropriate camping areas.

If you’d rather sleep in a hotel or motel there are a few nearby that we can help you get in contact with. Call the drop zone for details.

Restaurant

The small restaurant, Makkara, is situated in the main building. It serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, snacks, fruit, soft drinks and hamburgers. Cash only.

Equipment

The rental gear is not available in the sizes you might be used to. Currently we have three sets of gear for rent. We also rent our student equipment if no students need it. The rental cost for equipment is 80 SEK/jump. Generally it isn't hard to find a fellow jumper at the drop zone that can rent you equipment. But that can only be arranged between you and the people that are at the drop zone when you are there. We will be happy to try and help you out as much as we can.

There are a few simple rules to follow:

Sleeping halls - Please keep quiet at night in the sleeping halls and respect people’s need for sleep. Partying and talking ‘til the wee hours is free game in the main building/clubhouse.

Shoes - We maintain a shoe-free indoor environment in all the buildings (toilets excluded.) This helps protect equipment and keep the facilities clean.

Parking - The parking area is opposite the small cabins as you approach the DZ. Parking is not allowed by the main clubhouse.

Landing areas - There are two main landing areas: Swoop & tandem landing area and other jumpers landing area. Make sure you talk to the Jump Leader if you are uncertain where to land.
